Urban Lab. O.
The U.BI.TEACH Observatories provide an official online framework for HEI students to observe and monitor Urban Biodiversity needs, actions, etc. at the local level.
The Observatories will serve as concrete links between HEIs and their local communities, and be the starting point for the rest of the activities in the U.BI.TEACH Urban Lab. O. package.
A total of 7 local observatories will be set up, one in each project partner country.
e-Labs
U.BI.TEACH e-Labs will formulate the direct practical contribution of U.BI.TEACH to the green development of local communities, while promoting Service Learning practices.
Project partners will guide HEI Students through designing and realising project ideas for safeguarding local urban biodiversity. Those projects will draw inspiration from the infomation collected through the Observatories and Workshops.
The e-Labs will be designed with the purpose of being integrated into the curricula of HEIs and will be accompanied by the necessary ECTS guidelines.
The goal is to procure 14 project ideas from 7 established e-Labs.
